Rescuers eliminate the consequences of complicated weather conditions in Ukraine
On December 28, due to the predicted deterioration of weather conditions in Ukraine (heavy snow, ice and ice in some regions), emergency rescue workers are involved in the elimination of bad weather.
Thus, as of 17:00 rescuers of Kirovograd region removed 34 units of equipment from complicated sections of roads, of which: 28 trucks, 5 cars and 1 trolleybus (there were 39 people in total), and assistance was also provided to clear roads from snow in the city. Alexandria (20 km of roads cleared).
Units of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya region made 17 trips to assist drivers on the highways of the region. Thirty-two people were rescued.
In total, as of 17 o'clock, the units of the State Emergency Service from 7 am on December 28 made 48 towing of vehicles, including 10 ambulances.
In addition, in order to ensure uninterrupted operation of snow removal equipment from 12 o'clock on December 28, a temporary restriction on the movement of heavy vehicles on the M-30 highway in the area of the city was introduced. Alexandria of Kirovograd region to the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region and from 13:00 the entry of heavy vehicles into the city is temporarily limited. According to Ukravtodor, travel on public roads is provided (including on passes). To ensure travel on the country's roads, 1 thousand 621 people and 1 thousand 397 vehicles were recruited from Ukravtodor.
