Rescuers eliminate the consequences of complicated weather conditions
The units of the State Emergency Service carried out 30 engagements during the day to eliminate the effects of adverse weather conditions. 24 cars were towed, including 3 ambulances, and 14 trees were removed.
So, in Rivne region, rescuers went 10 times to provide the necessary assistance. An ambulance carrying a seriously ill man, a school bus and trucks were freed.
In Precarpathia 9 times, emergency workers cut down fallen trees that interfered with the movement of vehicles on roadways. And also in the morning they towed the carriage of the “ambulance”, which was stuck in a snowdrift while following a call to the village of Rozhnyativ, Kalush district. In total, 7 cars were released in the area: 4 trucks, 3 minibuses and a passenger car.
In the Volyn region in the evening in the Kamin-Kashirsky district, rescuers assisted the driver of a truck bus that overturned on a difficult section of the road. With the help of a winch, the transport was pulled out and placed on the roadway part of the road.
In Lviv region, rescuers of 2 Special Rapid Response Center freed a truck that was stuck on the roadway and could not continue moving.
And the emergency workers of the Khmelnytskyi region towed a truck that went off the road to the roadside in the city. Polonne.
