The work of all checkpoints on the demarcation line starts daily from 08:00 and lasts until 16:00. However, traffic in most humanitarian road corridors is blocked from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

Only the checkpoint “Stanytsia Luhanska” is open daily. During this week, passenger traffic decreased by 18%. As of last Saturday, 6,281 people passed through this road corridor into the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, and 5,904 people entered the controlled territory.

Opposite the Novotroitske checkpoint, militants unblocked the movement on Monday and Friday. The demarcation line at this checkpoint was crossed by 410 people and 91 vehicles to the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region. At the same time, 231 people and 55 vehicles drove through the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

In addition, at the checkpoint “Novotroitske” border guards recorded two attempts at bribery. Thus, citizens offered law enforcement officers 500 and 1600 hryvnias for a pass to the controlled territory without installing the application “At Home”. Attempts to provide illegal benefits are documented, and bribers are handed over to police officers for making an appropriate legal decision.

The International Committee of the Red Cross and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees sent 21 trucks with humanitarian aid to TOTU through the checkpoint “Novotroitske”. 314.1 tons of food kits, medical goods and hygiene products were delivered to residents of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

The pandemic has not subsided, so we remind you that quarantine restrictions are in place at the checkpoints. Thus, citizens of Ukraine who are subject to self-isolation, when heading to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, are obliged to install and activate the application “At Home”. If it is not possible to install a mobile application, they are subject to observation. And foreigners, when crossing the demarcation line, in addition to this, must have an insurance policy.

At the same time, there is a wide list of categories of citizens to whom self-isolation does not apply. We advise citizens to familiarize themselves with the full list of categories of persons who are not subject to self-isolation in advance. Self-isolation will be terminated in the event of a negative COVID-19 test result by PCR or express test, which is carried out after crossing the checkpoint.
