Thanks to the work of the parliamentary TSC on the protection of investors' rights, it was possible to protect and unlock 12.5 billion hryvnias of investments. The idea of creating the Special Commission arose thanks to the initiative of the President. This was stated at the presentation of the results of the work of the TSC in 2021 by the head of the Special Commission, People's Deputy Galina Yanchenko.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, the Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky, the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyushka, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchynov, the Minister of Regradation and occupied territories Iryna Vereshchuk, head of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Verkhovna Rada David Arakhamiya. As well as representatives of Embassies of 30 countries, including EU countries and partners of Ukraine.

As noted by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, this year the parliament has already taken an important step towards increasing the investment attractiveness of Ukraine.

“We have passed the legislation on “investment nannies”, as well as the basic law on industrial parks, which will be strengthened in the near future. In the plan of consideration by the Verkhovna Rada, there are two additional bills on industrial parks, which were adopted yesterday in the first reading. They provide specific tax and customs incentives for their residents,” the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada said.

Halyna Yanchenko thanked the guests of the event and noted that the effective work of the Special Commission would not be possible without TSC partners in state authorities. Therefore, the Special Commission would like to thank the heads of state authorities who have made a significant contribution to improving the investment reputation of Ukraine.

Such thanks were received by the Prosecutor General, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Minister of Justice of Ukraine.

“Most of the complex cases of investors have been displaced thanks to the coordination of efforts of various branches of government and the active cooperation of the Special Commission with the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Justice. For which I want to express my gratitude to Irina Venediktova, Denis Monastyrsky and Denis Malyuska. For the first time in many years, the investor finally begins to feel that the state is interested in solving its problems and is ready to take an active part in this,” said Halyna Yanchenko.

Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova stressed that coordination of law enforcement efforts is important in the issue of protecting business rights.

Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky noted that his personal position is that business and the state should have a trusting relationship.

“It was on this basis that the Office of Business Protection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs was created. This is a platform where we can discuss together important issues of the Ukrainian economy, legislative initiatives, tax paying.I see the next stage of reforming the relations between government and business in the joint launch of the action with the National Police - “Excise”. We started it in November and already in 1 month of such work we have received serious results all over Ukraine,” the minister noted.

The work of the TSC takes place in two directions: solving the resonant cases of investors and legislative improvement of the investment attractiveness of the state.

As a result, the People's Deputies of the TSK initiated 7 bills to protect business rights. These include a package of anti-raider legislation, a bill on the reform of ARMA, a package of bills for the development of electric car production in Ukraine, a bill on reducing fines for business from the DPS.
