Rapid Trident 2021: border guards and national guards begin joint training according to NATO standards
The training will take place with the participation of instructors of the Joint Operational and Tactical Group of the Armed Forces of Canada in Ukraine (Operation “UNIFIER”), which will provide an opportunity to improve interaction and achieve interoperability with units of the North Atlantic Alliance.
On July 6, joint training of units of the Rapid Response Commandery of the Zhytomyr Border Detachment and the National Guard began at one of the test sites in Kyiv region.
Within a few weeks, the troops, as part of the JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Group — “Ukraine”) Ukrainian-American exercises “Rapid Trident 2021”, will be trained in joint planning and conducting operations. They will also practice unit management actions and carry out elements of joint interdepartmental activities during combat tasks.
