Five Years of Active Cooperation: NATO Entrance Course Completed at the National Guard Academy
The five-year cooperation of the Ukraine-NATO Professional Development Program with the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine is coming to an end. The transfer of project management powers to the Academy in Kharkiv took place last Thursday. This is the first project in the history of the Program, which is completely transferred to the Ukrainian side.
During five years of cooperation, more than 250 cadets successfully completed the NATO Entry Course. On the basis of the Academy, the Department of Euro-Atlantic Integration was created. Now it functions independently and is the internal driver of changes in NANGU. In five years, more than 60 international and Ukrainian experts and trainers were involved in the Course.
The PDP team congratulated the cadets on successful completion of the NATO-2021 Entrance Course: “We are extremely grateful to our partners from the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine and gladly hand over the keys of the project to their side! We wish the Department prosperity and further success in the way of reforming the Academy.”
Recall that short-term courses with the participation of NATO specialists have been periodically held at the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine since 2017. Within the framework of the Ukraine-NATO Professional Development Program (PDP), modules on public speaking, strategic communications, leadership and gender equality were completed.
