Measures to strengthen the border in threatening areas continue
In view of today's security challenges at the state border, measures to strengthen it continue.
Despite the fact that usually the season of engineering construction of the border lasts until the onset of winter, this year active measures to strengthen the state border in threatening directions continue despite the snow and cold snap. Particular attention is paid to the border with the aggressor country.
In particular, on the site of the Sumy border detachment, the Ukrainian-Russian section of the state border with anti-transport ditches continues. A complex mechanized engineering team operates here, which, with the help of special equipment, in addition to the existing engineering obstacles in the most threatening directions, digs the ditch and fills the shaft, which are additional obstacles.
