Border guards found pollution of the Black Sea by a foreign vessel: the violator will pay a fine

During an air patrol over the Black Sea, the crew of the aircraft of the Separate Odessa Aviation Squadron found large brown spots around a foreign cargo ship that was raiding the port of Chernomorsk.
A boat of the Maritime Guard with representatives of the State Environmental Inspectorate of Ukraine went to the scene.
Based on the analysis of the stain samples and the inspection carried out, it was established that the sea was polluted by a Barbados-flagged vessel, which arrived from Bulgaria to load grain.
A ban is imposed on the departure of the vessel from the port until the payment of compensation to the income of Ukraine in the amount of about 150 thousand UAH.
