Border guards received technical assistance from the Odessa community on the eve of the New Year holidays
Within the framework of the city target program “Safe City of Odessa” border guards of the Southern Regional Administration received modern equipment, medical equipment and the latest road vehicles.
The celebrations were attended by First Deputy Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Boris Voloshenkov, Head of the Southern Regional Department Cergy Mul, heads of law enforcement agencies.
Thanks to the support of local authorities, the border guards received two Renault Duster cars and one Volkswagen T6. Also, for the needs of border guards, they purchased 47 computers, 27 telephones, printers, batteries for radio stations, an uninterruptible power supply.
Computer equipment, medical equipment and certificates on the car were handed to the border guards by Boris Voloshenkov.
For Military — medical clinical center in the city. Odessa delivered oxygen concentrators and pulse oximeters, and the border guards received protective medical suits and automatic dispensers for disinfection. New technical means will significantly increase the efficiency of the protection of the state border of Ukraine, the ability to stop illegal activities, as well as provide law enforcement with high-quality medical care.

Today, we once again see the unshakable stability of the authorities and power structures on the southern borders”, - First Deputy Head of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
The head of the Southern Regional Department thanked the authorities for their constant support and comprehensive assistance to the department in carrying out the tasks assigned to protect the state border.
“We are proud that our authorities, despite the current threats, are doing everything possible to reliably protect the southern borders of Ukraine,” Serhiy Mul said.
