The border guards of the Lviv detachment stopped the channel of illegal transportation of persons across the border
Border guards effectively counteract illegal activities, including illegal migration and detect offenders engaged in illegal movement of persons across the border. Recently, as a result of the work carried out, border guards of the Lviv Detachment exposed and stopped one of the channels of illegal transportation of persons across the border.
The events were carried out by the operational staff of the Lviv Border Detachment together with the investigators of the Yavoriv WP GUNP in the Lviv region, servicemen of the special unit DOZOR, representatives of the migration police in the Lviv region, under the procedural direction of the Yavoriv District Prosecutor's Office, according to the material criminal proceedings initiated under Part 2 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning the organizer of the illegal transfer across the state border of three illegal migrants, citizens of Turkey, which took place at the beginning of September at the border checkpoint.
At the address of residence of the defendant, a citizen of Turkey, in the city. An authorized search was conducted in Ivano-Frankivsk. According to its results, materials were found that are the evidence base and confirm the involvement of the defendant in the commission of this criminal offense.
The defendant of criminal proceedings is notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense, the responsibility for which is provided for in Part 2 of Art. 332 KKU. The sanction of the above article provides — imprisonment for a term of five to seven years.
