The border guard won the 1st place in the Ukrainian championship of Kyokushinkaikan karate
On the day of physical culture and sports, the Open Championship of Ukraine in Kyokushinkaikan Karate in the section “Kumite” and “Kata” was held on the Dnieper, the championship in which Senior Sergeant Yevgeny Konosh took place. And he won a place, in the final fight, knocking out his opponent, in the weight category over 80 kg, in the “Kumite” section.
Athletes from all over the country came to the sports arena to test their body and spirit. The championship just fell on the Day of Physical Culture and Sports. At Tatami, both representatives of the power structures and civilian athletes competed for the championship in martial arts.
Yevgeny has been serving under contract in the ranks of 10 mobile border detachment DOZOR since April 2019. And the path of mastering karate began 15 years ago at the age of 9 years.
His father advised today's winner to try this sports discipline. Therefore, Evgeny's preparation for the competition is taken care of by his coach Andriy Gavrilyuk.
