President awarded honorary names to parts of NGU
On August 23, 2021, Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on awarding honorary titles to military units of the National Guard of Ukraine. The relevant decrees №421/2021 and №422/2021 are published on the website of the Head of State.
Taking into account the combat merits, courage, high professionalism and taking into account the exemplary performance of the assigned tasks by the personnel of the 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, I conclude:
To assign the honorific name “Mykhailo Hrushevsky” to the 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and then to rename it — the 11th Brigade named after Mikhail Hrushevsky of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Taking into account the combat merits, courage, high professionalism and taking into account the exemplary performance of the assigned tasks by the personnel of the 25 brigade of public order protection of the National Guard of Ukraine, I conclude:
To assign the honorific name “Prince Askold” to the 25th Brigade of Public Order of the National Guard of Ukraine and to continue to name it — the 25th Brigade of Public Order Protection named after Prince Asquold of the National Guard of Ukraine.
