Representatives of the National Academy of Internal Affairs winners of the European Boxing Championship
From December 17 to 19, 2021, the European Combat Championship of Combat Self-Defense ICO was held in the city of Zalaegerszeg (Hungary), where more than 13 European countries took part.
As part of the official national team of Ukraine, 6 representatives of the boxing sports section of the National Academy of Internal Affairs took part in the Championship.
Two-time European champions (they won the first two places) were Zavgorodny Bogdan, a cadet of the 2nd year, Kubyshyn Igor, a student of the 4th year and Odinoky Dmytro, an employee of the academy senior lieutenant of police.
Nemykin Nikita, a student of the master's degree, a lieutenant of police, won first and second place.
The coach of the athletes is the teacher of the Department of Physical Training of the Kozenko Academy Sergey.
All athletes have completed the International Master of Sport qualification and will represent Ukraine at the World Championships in October 2022 in Italy.
The national team of Ukraine in the end won the first team place!
