The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs became the best in the all-Ukrainian competition of IT directors
Director of the Department of Informatization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Bondarenko was chosen as the winner of the XIIth All-Ukrainian contest of IT directors BEST CIO 2020 in the nomination “State Structures”.
The competition is held annually among the heads of IT departments of the private and public sectors to determine the most professional IT managers.
Igor Bondarenko received two awards — “BEST CIO 2020. Government Structures” and “Star of IT Innovation”.
“This is a team win first, not personal. The past year was difficult for the implementation of projects due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the conditions under which it was necessary to implement the plans. In 2020, the system for fixing administrative offenses in the field of ensuring traffic safety in automatic mode was fully operational. Work on the modernization of the system of automatic photo-video fixation of traffic violations continues to this day, the results will be shared with the public soon,” said Igor Bondarenko.
According to the Director of the Department of Informatization, it was possible to implement and bring to the final stage a project related to the verification of data on individuals processed in some national electronic information resources
“No one has done such work before us in the state. Currently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on behalf of the Government, is developing a bill on the introduction of an electronic service for the identification of individuals in order to further bring information in other national electronic information resources into line with a single identifier. In the near future we will present the results of this work,” said Igor Bondarenko.
Also, the Department of Informatization implements a sectoral program of informatization of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Central District of Ukraine in the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of the System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It focuses on the development of public services of the unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the introduction and modernization of national electronic information resources as components of the EIS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the creation of an innovative infrastructure of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
“As a priority in my work, I see the maximum automation of management processes both in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the strengthening of interdepartmental interaction with other ministries and authorities. The second is the most convenient services for citizens, overcoming bureaucratic obstacles in obtaining service services from the state, their simplicity, speed and accessibility. And the main component is the construction of a unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a national project for the automation of public administration processes in the field of internal affairs,” said Igor Bondarenko.
