Law enforcement officers from the Joint Forces discovered a cache of ammunition

Detected hazardous objects were seized by the explosives unit of the State Emergency Service.

Performing tasks as part of the Joint Forces, the border guards of the Kramatorsk detachment pay little attention to the safety of the civilian population, which, in particular, lives in settlements near the demarcation line. After all, the armed formations of the Russian Federation during the de-occupation of the captured part of the Donbas left behind a large number of caches with weapons and ammunition.

Another such cache was discovered yesterday by a joint interdepartmental group.

Border guards together with representatives of the SBU and the State Emergency Service in an abandoned building in one of the settlements of Donetsk region, located 17 km. from the demarcation line, found a concourse with military means of destruction. Operational information on the possible location of the conch, the border guards obtained in advance.

In the course of further actions, 800 grams of TNT, more than 2 thousand rounds of 5.45 mm caliber, 101 rounds of 7.62 mm and 80 rounds of 12.7 mm were removed from the cache. Also 3 grenades F-1, an RGD-5 grenade, 2 shots from RPG-7 and 2 tin blocks with a total weight of 600 grams.

According to this fact, a notice was sent to the Pokrovsky district department of the National Police on the detection of signs of a criminal offense, the responsibility for which is provided for by Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives”.
