Law enforcers detained stalker spouses in Chernobyl zone

A couple from Rivne region who penetrated the Chernobyl zone were detained by law enforcement officers last night.
The husband and wife, who broke into the exclusion zone outside the control posts, were discovered by the border guards of the Ivankov department of the Zhytomyr detachment together with the National Police officers.
A couple of offenders — residents of the city of Dubno, Rivne region, intended to enter the depopulated territory for the purpose of extreme tourism and recreation.
Currently, police officers have drawn up administrative protocols on the spouses for violating the requirements of the radiation safety regime in an area affected by radioactive contamination, the decision on which will be made by the court.
