Law enforcers seized the largest batch of amphetamine in the history of Ukraine - Igor Klymenko
In Dnipro, one of the drug factories produced 300 kilograms of amphetamine per month. 300 kilograms is 1 million 200 thousand doses. And from today they will cease to enter the “market”.
Because it is at these moments that the police are liquidating an extensive network of production and sale of amphetamine in the territory of 4 regions of the state. This was stated by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
“Dnipro covered a real drug factory. There they seized 120 kg of finished amphetamine = 480 thousand doses! And this is the largest batch of seized amphetamine in the history of Ukraine. In addition, the police found there more than 1 ton of precursors, from which another 700 kg of ready-made psychotrope could be made. As of now, 8 people involved in the organization of drug business have been detained. The amount of their monthly illegal turnover reached 120 million hryvnias, - said Igor Klymenko.
The head of the National Police stressed that every month the attackers manufactured and sold through their wholesale online store from 250 to 300 kilograms of amphetamine. And they supplied this poison to at least 50 groups of sellers throughout Ukraine.
“Earlier, the organizer of the drug business was accused of banditry. Now his case is being heard in court, and the attacker, as you can see, does not have time. Large-scale searches in the territory of Dnipropetrovsk, Kiev, Cherkasy regions and the city of Kiev continue,” Igor Klymenko added.
