Law enforcers have tightened security measures near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
The police, together with the soldiers of the National Guard, ensure public safety and order in order to prevent violations of public order during mass events near the Parliament.
Today in the government quarter there is an action with the mass participation of citizens. In order to ensure public safety and order, employees of the structural units of the Metropolitan Police, servicemen of the National Guard, employees of the State Emergency Service, cynologists, explosives technicians and the Dialogue Police are serving in an enhanced mode.
During the event, some of its participants resorted to illegal actions and began blocking approaches to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and throwing pyrotechnic devices. As a result of the firecracker explosion, a woman was injured - a participant in the action. Now doctors provide the victims with the necessary medical care on the spot.
The police carry out preventive work with the participants of the event and urge the protesters to adhere to the declared peaceful format of the action.
We emphasize that the police will immediately respond to any offenses and bring the perpetrators to justice. We appeal to the organizers and participants of the action: not to resort to provocations, not to violate public order and to carry out planned events in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation.
