Law enforcers of Kyiv region have established the identity of the pseudo-miner of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant
As reported earlier, on April 27 at 22:44 an anonymous message about a mine and explosion at the enterprise was received to the e-mail address of the CHP “Chernobyl”.
Then, after holding a joint meeting of employees of the enterprise, the National Police of Ukraine, the SBU, the NGU and the State Emergency Service, an emergency hazard regime was introduced on the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
During the inspection, no explosive devices and hazardous substances were detected on the territory of the nuclear power plant.
Law enforcement officers of Kyiv region together with employees of Main Department of SBU in the city. Kyiv and Kiev region, under the procedural guidance of the Vyshgorod District Prosecutor's Office, established the identity of the man who sent a message about the mining from his e-mail address. The attacker turned out to be a resident of the city of Slavutych, Vyshgorod district.
At the place of residence of the accused, law enforcement officers conducted an authorized search and seized items with which he could communicate to government agencies, namely: 23 hard drives to a computer, 3 flash drives, a tablet, a laptop, 2 mobile phones, as well as 3 boxes of cartridges caliber 4.5 mm to pistols.
On the fact of a knowingly false report about a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property, the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction article provides for imprisonment for a term of two to six years.
At the moment, the question of the appointment of the necessary examinations and the notification of the suspicion of the pseudominer is being resolved.
