Precarpathian police reported on suspicion of the organizer of a criminal group
Law enforcers reported an additional suspicion of the organizer of the group, which committed robbery attacks on citizens in the territory of the Carpathians.
The perpetrators engaged in extortion, and used intimidation or physical violence against their victims.
In the summer of 2021, they were detained, currently the organizer and three accomplices are in prison.
Recall, on June 18, masked attackers broke into the victim's apartment, threatened murder and demanded a considerable amount of funds.
We are talking about a 36-year-old organizer, previously convicted of violent crimes, as well as three accomplices aged 19, 23 and 30. On that day, they were detained, subsequently reported on suspicion of robbery and extortion, and preventive measures in the form of detention were chosen.
During the pre-trial investigation on September 7, the investigators informed the organizer of an additional suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 255-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
We are talking about the spread of criminal influence in society, and the sanction of this article provides for imprisonment for a period of seven to ten years with confiscation of property.
All members of the group are currently in custody and a pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
