The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said this today, July 27, during a meeting with the Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov. The event was also attended by the head of the National Police Igor Klymenko and the First Deputy Head of the Department of Patrol Police Oleksiy Biloshitsky.

“We all see the transformations that Ukrainian roads are undergoing. Thanks to the Presidential Program “Big Construction”, abandoned and destroyed ones become new and comfortable. So, there is a task: to keep the updated Ukrainian roads in good condition as long as possible. And for this it is especially important to strengthen control over large and heavy transport”, - noted Denis Monastyrsky.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways of cooperation in strengthening the responsibility for road congestion.

“We are gaining momentum and working together with the Ministry of Infrastructure on the audit of the already existing system of dimensional and weight control and interact during the launch of new facilities. Traffic on Ukrainian roads should be safe and comfortable for everyone,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
