More than 800 liters of unlabeled alcoholic beverages were seized by police in the Carpathian region
Countering the illegal market of excisable goods, police officers of Ivano-Frankivsk region carry out inspections of various trade establishments in the region. This work involves precinct police officers, community police officers, patrol police response teams, as well as juvenile prevention sector inspectors.
During the work of Kolomyia district in one of the shopping establishments of Kolomyia, law enforcement officers found more than 1000 bottles of alcoholic products without excise tax stamps.
Regarding the seller of the establishment, the police drew up an administrative protocol under Part 1 of Art. 156 “Violation of the rules of trade in beer, alcohol, low-alcohol beverages, tobacco products, electronic cigarettes and liquids used in electronic cigarettes, devices for consuming tobacco products without burning them” of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
The Police of the Carpathians stresses to the owners and employees of commercial establishments on the need to strictly observe the norms of the current legislation during the sale of alcohol and tobacco products.
We also appeal to citizens: if you witness the sale of alcohol or tobacco to minors, do not stand aside, make a remark and report this fact to the police!
