More than 130 dog trainers and their pets passed exams: four-legged special forces go to guard the border
Protecting the border is an extremely important matter. It is not possible for everyone to detect weapons, drugs and cigarettes, or to detain a violator. And irreplaceable helpers, loyal
and reliable companions — service dogs, will always come to the rescue of border guards in this regard.
No unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine can do without these tailed guards. And they train four-legged border guards at the Kennel Training Center.
So, more than 130 dog handlers and their pupils successfully completed their training and passed the final exams. These are young men and girls who, by the call of their hearts, decided to become dog breeders and combined their lives with the protection of state borders.
Training lasted up to 6 months. During this time, the border guards mastered the profession of dog handyman and became true professionals in their field, and the four-legged “cadets” learned to detect weapons, drugs and cigarettes, and also to detain violators.
The exams were successfully passed and another four-legged special forces went to protect the state borders, so violators now have no chance to break the border!
