More than 100 violators were detected by border guards in March at the administrative border with TOT AR Crimea
In accordance with the current legislation, it is possible to enter the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea legally only through the checkpoints “Kalanchak”, “Chaplynka” and “Chongar”, which are currently functioning in the normal mode in compliance with quarantine rules.
For the border agency, security and speed of transit operations remains one of the priority tasks, and this does not prevent effective detection of persons who neglect the established rules and violate the legislation of Ukraine.
Thus, during March 2021, during the implementation of transit operations at the checkpoint at the administrative border from the TOT Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the border guards of the Kherson detachment identified 109 citizens who violated the procedure for entering and leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. These citizens came to Crimea through the so-called “Kerch bridge” from the territory of the Russian Federation. All violators were brought to administrative responsibility by employees of the State Border Guard Service and imposed fines of 170 thousand hryvnias.
In total, since the beginning of the year, the soldiers of the Kherson border detachment have detected 295 people who violated the order of entry into the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
