Zaporozhye police stopped illegal actions of a group of armed young men on the territory of a farm
The identity of the violators is established. They were taken to the police station to give explanations. The seized weapon and ammunition are sent to it for examination. Open criminal proceedings, the most severe sanction for which provides for imprisonment for up to seven years. The investigation is ongoing.
On October 7, at about 14:10, a report was received at the police station No. 3 of the Pologovsk district police department of the GUNP in Zaporizhzhya region that a group of young people arrived on the territory of one of the farms in the village of Blahodatny on three cars and threatened its leadership and employees with weapons.
An investigative task force and the uniforms of the patrol police response teams went to the scene. Law enforcement officers stopped the illegal actions of violators.
At the scene, police officers found that a group of young men with a demonstration of weapons threatened to take the harvest, forced the head of the farm to re-register ownership of the property and give his share to the hereditary complex of rural farming.
In addition, the violators cut the wheel of the tractor and several wheels of the company's service cars.
According to this fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 263 (Illegal handling of weapons, war supplies or explosives) and Part 2 of Art. 355 (Compulsion to perform or non-performance of civil legal obligations) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As part of the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers interviewed witnesses and eyewitnesses of the incident, seized recordings from the company's CCTV cameras. The violators seized four hunting smoothbore rifles, three traumatic pistols of grades “PMT”, “PMR” and “Fort 12", 24 hunting rounds, 18 pistol cartridges, 18 cartridges with rubber bullets, 9 plastic rounds.
All seized weapons and ammunition are sent for ballistic examination to the Zaporizhzhya Research Expert and Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Also, the investigators prepared and sent to the court a petition for the arrest of three Toyota Land Cruiser cars on which the violators were moving.
The faces of all the men who invaded the territory of the farm are established. These are residents of Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk regions from the 23rd to the 31st year. All of them were taken to the police station No. 3 of the Pologovsk district administration for explanations. Investigative actions are currently underway. Based on the results of the first priority investigative and investigative measures, the issue of notifying certain persons of suspicion of committing the specified criminal offenses will be resolved. They could face up to seven years in prison.
