Police consider three main versions of death of Kryvyi Rih mayor
This was announced during a press conference by the chief of police of Dnipropetrovsk region Anatoly Schadilo.
“Yesterday, around 16 o'clock, his assistant called the police. He said that he was in the country house of Konstantin Pavlov, where he found a body with signs of a gunshot wound,” said the head of the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region Anatoly Schadilo.
Next to the dead, law enforcement officers found a registered shotgun.
Law enforcement officers conducted a detailed analysis and inspection of the scene. Video from CCTV cameras are analyzed.
Anatoly Schadilo said that the police are considering three main versions of the incident: murder, suicide, careless handling of weapons, and others.
Currently, law enforcement officers have appointed more than a dozen examinations and other investigative actions to establish all the circumstances.
According to this fact, the investigator opened criminal proceedings under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is ongoing.
