Police prosecute former MP for using fake COVID certificate
The woman and her sister at the airport tried to use fake vaccination certificates to get to Ukraine. Forged documents seized, investigation is ongoing.
The other day at the airport “Boryspil”, while checking documents, employees of the State Border Service found two women with COVID-19 vaccination certificates with obvious signs of forgery. It is established that one of the defendants is a former People's Deputy. Information about the offense was passed on to the police.
On the fact of using forged documents, criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 4 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is carried out by investigators of the police of the Kiev region. The removed documents are sent to carry out the necessary examinations. In the near future, a decision will be made on declaring suspicion to the defendants.
