Police of Nikolaev opened criminal proceedings on obstruction of professional activity of journalist of one of the central TV channels

Today at about 13:45 a journalist from one of the central TV channels addressed the police department No. 1 of the Nikolaev district department with a statement that several unknown persons interfered with the shooting in Nikolaev, persecuted the film crew, thereby hindering his professional activity.
Information on the specified fact is included in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 2 of Art. 171 (Obstruction of legitimate professional activity of journalists) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the police are carrying out priority investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
