Donetsk police document consequences of shelling of Nevelske village
Tonight, for the second time this week, militants shelled a village in Pokrovsky district. An investigative and operational team of Avdiyivka police works at the scene. Seven houses were damaged, two of which were destroyed. There are no casualties among the population.
In the morning, at 6:45 a.m., the police received a report from local residents that at 02:30 the village of Nevelske was under fire from illegal armed formations.
Law enforcement officers survey the village, document the consequences of the crime and find out what kind of help local residents need.
As of 11:00am, damage was recorded to seven houses. The examination is ongoing.
The issue of opening criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of laws and customs of war). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years.
This is the second attack by militants on the village in the past week. Recall that on Sunday, November 14, 9 houses were damaged as a result of shelling of Nevelsky.
