Within the framework of the project of the National Police of Ukraine “Community Police Officer”, Pisochynska TG decided to purchase an apartment for a police officer at the expense of the local budget. The community encourages police officers who effectively and qualitatively perform their official duties in the service area for the second time in this way.

On December 23, a session of the Pisochin village council took place, during which the village chairman Oleg Chernobay and the head of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region Stanislav Perlin handed the keys of the three-room service apartment to the community police officer to the captain of the police, Nikolai Yankovsky.

The head of the regional head of police noted the effectiveness of the project “Community Police Officer” in Kharkiv region and emphasized that today it is the most qualitative model of police communication with the population.

- The territorial community of Pisochin actively helps the police to implement the main principles of the project in real life, - Stanislav Perlin noted. - I was impressed how professionally and perfectly organized the work of the local community is. This is truly European level. In two years of cooperation, the police together with the population have built one of the safest communities in Ukraine.

During this time, at the initiative of the police, more than 100 video surveillance cameras, 30 road signs and other information signs have been installed. Security projects such as Ukraine's first informational chatbot “Community Police Officer”, “Stranger in the Community”, and road safety at school have been implemented.

The joint effective work of the community and the police has become an example for other regions of Ukraine. On November 4, 2021, the head of the Pisochinskaya TG and the police officers of the community were invited to the all-Ukrainian forum “Ukraine 30: a safe community” with the participation of the President of Ukraine.

Police officer of the community Mykola Yankovsky is proud that the local population entrusted him to take care of security and protect the interests of the community.

— I became not only an employee of the law enforcement agency working on the territory of our community, but also a full-fledged resident of it, - Mykola Yankovsky noted. - It was a very pleasant surprise for me how highly the local self-government bodies appreciated my official activity. Community Police Officer Philosophy “I live here. I work here” - the main goal of the National Police project - is really working in action. Very grateful to the residents of the community and the deputy team for their trust, for the police officer this is the highest assessment of his work.

Chairman of Pisochynska TG Oleg Chernobay noted that the police officers of the community with their conscientious work changed the stereotypes about the police.

— Our community immediately supported the initiative to participate in the project of the National Police of Ukraine. Today, 4 officers work on the territory of our TG, they are on duty 24/7, as they respond to calls of residents of communities at any time of the day. As a result, today we have a significant decrease in the number of offenses, the population feels safe at home and on the street. Therefore, we are ready to support our community police officers within their powers and provide them with everything necessary for the proper performance of their professional duties, - Oleg Chernobay emphasized.

The head of the territorial community noted that two years ago, for conscientious work on the service territory, the community provided official housing to police officer Andriy Shapovalov.

Oleg Chernobay assured the head of the Kharkiv police that the community will continue to actively promote the implementation of security projects on its territory.

The head of the regional GUNP awarded departmental certificates to the police officers of the community, and representatives of Pisochynska TG presented the guests with memorable souvenirs.

Help. At present, the project has been implemented in 20 territorial communities of Kharkiv region. 35 police officers work on the territories of police stations of the united territorial communities in the Kharkiv region. In the future, increase the number of community officers to 244 to cover all territorial communities of Kharkiv region with a population of more than 1 million citizens.
