Police investigate the circumstances of the explosion in the village of Hrebinky in Kyiv region
Today, September 5, at about 16:00 hours, there was a steam explosion at a sugar factory in the village of Hrebinki. This was reported to the Belotserkivsk district police department by an ambulance paramedic.
The investigative and operational team of the Belotserkivsk RUP immediately went to the scene. According to preliminary information, the cause of the accident was a malfunction of one of the boilers.
It is known that five people were among the victims, two of whom were hospitalized in the capital hospital. The rest of the victims were taken to Belotserkovskaya City Hospital No. 2. The condition of the victims is currently unknown.
