Police in the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces congratulated Ukraine on Independence Day
The forces in the east of the state include more than two dozen units of the patrol service of the special purpose police. Police officers serve to ensure public safety and order in peaceful and frontline settlements of the country.
Currently, the National Police of Ukraine has 21 units of the patrol service of the special purpose police. They were created in different regions of Ukraine. The soldiers of these units, in addition to regular rotations to Donetsk and Luhansk regions, also serve in their places of permanent deployment.
On the occasion of the preparation and commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine, police units of the PSPOP not only took part in the celebrations, but also performed enhanced functions to ensure public security and order in peaceful and frontline settlements of the country.
Despite the public holiday, PSPOP fighters in the period from 18 to 24 August are maximally involved in the service of ensuring public safety and order in settlements in places of deployment. The outfits of the rapid response groups, car and foot patrols have also been strengthened.
