Police officers discovered the murder of a man who was shot in Nikolaev, and detained the attacker
On April 28, during a special operation, the investigators of the Investigative Department, the operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Nikolaev District Police Department under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office and with the force support of KORD fighters detained a local resident involved in the murder of a Nikolaev that occurred on April 15 in the yard high-rise buildings on the street of the Decembrists. Then the 38-year-old victim received multiple gunshot wounds to the back, from which he died.
At the scene of the incident, the officers of the investigative and operational team found the sleeves, which were seized and sent for examination.
As a result of the complex of investigative and operational measures, the police established the identity of the attacker and his location. He turned out to be a 17-year-old resident of the Varvarivka neighborhood. It is also known that the detainee is the defendant for causing grievous bodily harm to a passer-by in Nikolaev, and the preventive measure chosen for him was not connected with the detention.
After the murder, the attacker fled in a car and threw the gun into the river.
“One version of the murder is revenge on the victim for the events of 2006. Then the deceased deprived the life of the uncle of the suspect, for which he was serving a sentence in the form of imprisonment,” says the head of the GUNP in the Nikolaev area police colonel Sergey Shaykhet.
At the moment, the circle of friends of the suspect, who relate to the criminal world, in whom the minor offender is likely to have purchased a gun, is being checked.
At the moment, the investigators handed the attacker a report on suspicion of committing premeditated murder (Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code) and will petition the court to elect him a preventive measure in the form of detention. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to fifteen years.
