Police officers improve their qualifications in KHNUVS

The Institute of Postgraduate Education of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has started advanced training courses for police officers. New knowledge and skills will be mastered by 27 trainees under the “Patrol Police” program, including representatives of patrol police departments in Poltava and Kharkiv regions. 26 trainees will be trained under the program “Cyber Police”. Short-term advanced training courses will be held by 28 representatives of the investigation units.

The vice-rector of the university, Police Colonel Serhiy Bortnyk, met with the police officers, who noted that for successful service activities it is necessary to constantly acquire new knowledge, exchange experience, raising their professional level. He also stressed the need to comply with official discipline and rules of internal procedure. He noted that all conditions for studying, living, self-training, sports and recreation have been created for the trainees. Serhiy Bortnyk paid special attention to compliance with quarantine requirements.
