Police officers of Kramatorsk and SBU workers seized about five kilograms of amphetamine

Investigators and operatives of the Kramatorsk police worked on documenting the illegal activities of the defendants together with employees of the BKOZ Main Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.
Law enforcement officers found that two men aged 23 and 24, adhering to a conspiracy, sold psychotropic substances by the bookmark method. In addition, the attackers distributed drugs in the Donetsk region through the Telegram channel.
During the operational measures, detectives received information about the receipt of another batch of illegal substance in particularly large sizes. To expose the intruders, a large-scale special operation was deployed and a combination for their detention was calculated.
Yesterday, April 7, on the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk highway, law enforcement officers stopped a car in which there were dealers. As a result of the inspection of the car, a package with amphetamine weighing about five kilograms was removed.
According to preliminary information, the attackers brought drugs from another area.
Assistance in the detention of the defendants was provided by employees of the Department of Patrol Police in the cities of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
These measures were carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings provided for in Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues in particularly large quantities).
Men face from 6 to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
