Kiev police establish the circumstances of the death of a woman who was detained for theft
The woman was in the room for detainees herself. In the morning she was found dead.
Tonight, to the Svyatoshyn Police Department, the operatives delivered the offender, who was detained for stealing from the store. Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The woman, who did not have a permanent place of residence in the capital and was repeatedly prosecuted for property crimes, carried out all necessary procedural actions and provided legal assistance. She was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and placed in a room for detainees. There were no health complaints from the detainee.
Doctors, an investigative task force and a forensic expert are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are currently processing surveillance footage and establishing the circumstances of her death.
All inspection materials will be transferred to the State Bureau of Investigation.
