Kyiv police establish circumstances of death of People's Deputy of Ukraine Anton Polyakov
Currently, an investigative task force, a forensic laboratory and a forensic expert are working at the scene.
Today, October 8, the Kiev police received information that Anton Polyakov, a People's Deputy of Ukraine, was found dead in the Dnieper district of the capital. The operative on duty immediately sent an investigative task force and other specialized services to the scene.
Previously, law enforcement officers established that the man had become unwell in a taxi, he was tried to be resuscitated by ambulance doctors, but he was pronounced dead. Currently, at the scene of the incident, the police are carrying out all the necessary first priority investigative actions to establish the circumstances of the death of the People's Deputy. The body of the deceased will be sent for forensic examination, which must establish the cause of death.
On this fact, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Art. 115 (Intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the note “Natural death”. Investigative actions are ongoing.
