Donetsk police officers have exposed a man involved in the storage and use of child pornography
On electronic media, a resident of Druzhkivka stored more than half a thousand files of a pornographic nature with the participation of children. Police seized physical evidence during an authorized search. Investigative actions continue under the procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor's office.
Employees of the migration police department together with the Department of Migration Police of the NPU, employees of the department (detectives) of the investigative department of the GUNP in the Donetsk region of the department for combating cybercrimes in the Donetsk region of the NPU Cyber Police Department worked on documenting the criminal activities of the suspect.
It was established that during 2021, the man, by connecting to the Internet using a WiFi router installed in a neighboring apartment, found on the network, stored and used materials containing child pornography.
At the residence of the 55-year-old man, police conducted an authorized search and seized evidence of involvement in a criminal offense: computer equipment containing pornographic files with signs of child pornography in large quantities.
The removed is sent for examination.
According to this fact, the criminal proceedings of Part 1 of Art. 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Obtaining access to child pornography, its acquisition, storage, importation, transportation or other movement, production, sale and distribution).
The man is threatened with imprisonment for a term of two to six years.
