Police of Dnipropetrovsk region exposed a group of men in the distribution of child pornography
Through the Internet, using file sharers, attackers distributed photos and videos with elements of pornographic products.
As it turned out, three Dnieper residents, aged 47 to 58, distributed child pornography over the Internet during 2020-2021.
Investigative events were held with the participation of investigators of the investigative department, employees of the migration police department under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office of the Dnipropetrovsk region. At the place of residence of the men, law enforcement officers conducted three court-sanctioned searches. As a result, 36 hard drives, a system unit, Wi-Fi routers, external hard drives, flash drives, optical drives, a mobile phone and a pistol-like object were seized.
All removed is aimed at conducting relevant examinations. According to the results of the study, the issue of handing over the notification of suspicion to men will be resolved.
Searches were conducted within the framework of criminal proceedings opened under Part 3 of Art. 301-1 (obtaining access to child pornography, its acquisition, storage, importation, transportation or other movement, manufacture, sale and distribution) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.
