Police of Dnipropetrovsk region reported on suspicion of the director of the enterprise, which caused the state losses of more than 480 thousand hryvnias by its actions
Without properly disposing of livestock products, it was exported to the territory adjacent to the enterprise, which caused serious consequences for the environment in the region.
Employees of the environmental inspection in the Dnipropetrovsk region discovered the fact of environmental pollution, on which an act was drawn up and the investigator opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 239 (pollution or damage to land) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As it turned out, one of the enterprises of the Dnipropetrovsk region, with non-compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation, contaminated land plots with ammonium nitrogen and nitrates, which is confirmed by the conclusion of the expert conducted by law enforcement officers.
On May 31, police officers of the Department for the Protection of Public and State Interests of the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region, together with the investigators of the police department No. 8 of the Dnipro District Police Department and employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region, under the procedural direction of the Slobozhanska District Prosecutor's Office, conducted four court-sanctioned searches. Investigative actions were carried out at the place of illegal activities and in the office premises of the enterprise, as a result of which law enforcement officers seized 2 system units, laptop, iPad, rough accounting, seals, and more than 40 stamps of the enterprise and government agencies.
Also, with the specialists of the State Environmental Inspectorate in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the police conducted an inspection of the territory and drew up the corresponding protocol.
After carrying out the necessary set of operational measures, the investigator opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 364-1 (abuse of powers by an official of a legal entity of a private law legal entity regardless of the organizational and legal form) of the Criminal Code and, in agreement with the prosecutor's office, the directors of the enterprise reported the suspicion of the employee. 1 Art. 239 and Part 2 of Art. 364-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
