Results of the National Sorochin Fair in Poltava region: the police returned the parents of three lost children and found a number of offenses
The Sorochinsky Fair this year was visited by more than 60 thousand citizens. On a daily basis, the safety of participants and visitors of the National Event, as well as public order during the fair, was ensured by about 120 police personnel.
According to Maxim Akhrameyev, deputy chief of police of Poltava region, in general, the exhibition and fair event took place at a decent level, but there were situations that required immediate police response. Thus, in particular, juvenile police officers involved in ensuring law and order at the fair, quickly found and returned to the parents of three children who were lost in the crowd, between the trading rows.
In the period from August 17 to 22, the regular part of the Mirgorod district police department registered 2 reports of theft of property, 3 traffic accidents without victims (with mechanical damage to cars).
Mobile crews of the response sector of the patrol police of Mirgorod documented 29 violations of the Rules of the Road. Among them: 5 facts of driving vehicles in a state of alcohol intoxication — protocols have been drawn up in relation to drivers under Art. 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
In addition, the police officer of the Velikosorochinsk territorial community and the district officers of the Mirgorod regional department exposed 4 facts of trade in goods in unidentified places.
It should be noted that gross violations of public order during the fair are not allowed. This is the result not only of coordinated actions of law enforcement officers, but also of the legal position of local residents, participants and guests of a large-scale event.
