Police units of Dnipropetrovsk region received 18 service vehicles
The vehicles were distributed among the units of investigation, criminal investigation, domestic violence prevention, logistics and preventive activities.
The solemn ceremony of delivery of official vehicles took place today, September 2, on the square in front of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. Certificates and car keys were received by heads of departments in the cities of Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sinelnikove, Kamianske, Nikopol, Novomoskovsk and Pavlohrad.
The head of the GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region Anatoly Schadilo said that such a powerful strengthening of the material-technical base of the police became possible thanks to the support of regional authorities and people's deputies. He thanked the Chairman of the Regional State Administration Valentin Reznichenko, the Chairman of the Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk and the People's Deputies of Ukraine Volodymyr Zakharchenko, Vyacheslav Medyanik and Yuriy Koryavchenkov for their assistance in allocating funds for the purchase of service vehicles. “Thanks to our cooperation and your help in equipping police units of the region, law enforcement officers will be able to provide better police services, as well as respond to incidents and crimes on a mobile basis,” noted Anatoly Schadilo.
“Only in close cooperation with the authorities can we improve our material and technical base and more effectively ensure law and order in the entrusted territory,” the head of the regional police stressed.
