Convicted of theft, the “authority” intimidated and terrorized other dependents of one of the correctional colonies in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. He constantly violated the rules of conduct in the institution and forced the convicts to do so.

Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region exposed the fact of the influence of “authority” on other prisoners. On June 11 of this year, he forced more than 100 inmates of the correctional colony to violate the regime established in the colony, refuse to perform their work in good faith, not to appear for lunch and dinner, as well as do not use uniform clothes.

It is known that such facts of criminal “authority” dictating criminal rules of conduct are repeated and massive. On June 12, the offender was detained in accordance with Art.
208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On the basis of the evidence received and the collected facts, the investigators of the regional police department under the procedural leadership of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office informed the “authority” about the suspicion. He is incriminated:

- establishment and dissemination of criminal influence in the correctional colony (part 2 of Art. 255-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine);
- actions that disorganize the work of institutions of execution of sentences (Part 1 of Art. 392 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In order to prevent the further influence of criminal “authority” on other prisoners of the colony, he was placed in a temporary detention facility for further transfer to another institution serving sentences.
