Border guards joined the program of the President of Ukraine “Green Country”
In Zhytomyr region, Lviv region and Volyn border guards joined the all-Ukrainian action “Creating Forests Together”.
Together with local residents and foresters of state enterprises, the soldiers of the department “Ovruch” planted more than 10 thousand saplings of various tree species. At the Canine Training Center, border guards landscaped the area with fruit trees — 65 apple and pear trees were planted in total, and in Volyn — several hours of coordinated work of border guards — and 7.5 thousand alder seedlings joined the first million trees.
The joint effort has made another contribution to the protection of nature and the environment, and the planted trees are already pleasing to the eye with their beauty and will be remembered for generations to come.
