Operation “Migrant”: Two groups of illegal migrants from Turkey detained in Lviv region
During the day, the border guards of the Lviv detachment detained 5 Turkish citizens. The events took place within the framework of targeted preventive measures “Migrant”.
Implementing operational information, the inspector of the department “Rava - Russia” reported the appearance of three foreigners in one of the settlements. A response team was advanced from the border unit. Subsequently, three Turkish citizens aged from 31 to 39 years were detained a few hundred meters from the state border.
Otherwise, the arrest occurred due to information from a local resident. The outfit, together with a representative of the operational unit, detained two Turkish citizens, aged 19 and 20.
All detained foreigners had identity documents and entered the territory of Ukraine legally. However, Turkish citizens did not have the proper documents for further “travel” through the EU countries.
Protocols under Part 2 of Art have been drawn up for all detained foreigners. 204-1 KUPAP “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine”. The decision will be made by the court.
