The occupiers significantly limited the ability to move across the demarcation line
In October, the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint, the only one where crossing the demarcation line occurs daily, was crossed by almost 60% fewer people than in September.
If in September of this year more than 71 thousand people crossed the checkpoint “Stanytsia Luhanska”, then in October - less than 27 thousand people. At the same time, in recent weeks, representatives of the occupation authorities pass several times fewer people to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities than to TOTU. Thus, representatives of the collaborationist authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Russian Federation significantly limit the ability of Ukrainians living in the occupation to communicate with relatives, receive payments, educational, medical (including vaccination) and other services.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainian border guards began to record significant changes regarding the passage of persons through the checkpoint “Stanytsya Luhanska” since October 10. By 10.30 that day, TOTU was not followed by any person. And from the next day there is a significant decrease in passenger traffic due to the restrictions that were established by representatives of the armed formations of the Russian Federation.
It is worth noting that according to the decision of the Joint Forces Operation Commander, all seven checkpoints on the demarcation line operate daily from 08.00 to 16.00. However, due to the restrictions of the occupation administrations of ORDLO, in fact, the passage is carried out only through Stanytsia Lugansk - daily and through the checkpoint “Novotroitske” - twice a week. Traffic in the remaining five road corridors was completely blocked by the occupiers.
