Occupiers continue to restrict the movement of citizens through checkpoints
Check-in/out checkpoints operate daily from 08.00 to 16.00. However, traffic in most humanitarian road corridors is blocked from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Of the seven open checkpoints, full passage is carried out only in Stanytsya Luhanska.
In a week, the passenger traffic in it decreased by 6%. In total, 9,562 people passed through this road corridor to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, and 8,799 people to the controlled territory.
Opposite the Novotroitske checkpoint, the occupiers unblocked the movement only on Monday. The demarcation line at the checkpoint was crossed by 388 people and 76 vehicles to the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region. At the same time, 317 people and 45 vehicles drove through the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
Border guards found 2 citizens who were heading to the controlled territory on partially forged documents. Notices are sent to the National Police on the detection of signs of criminal offenses.
3 trucks with humanitarian aid from the International Committee of the Red Cross passed through the checkpoint “Novotroitske”. 37.2 tons of hygiene kits were delivered to residents of the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
We remind you that citizens of Ukraine who are subject to self-isolation are obliged to install and activate the application “At Home” when heading to the controlled territory. If it is not possible to install a mobile application, they are subject to observation. And foreigners, when crossing the demarcation line, in addition to this, must have an insurance policy.
At the same time, there is a wide list of categories of citizens to whom self-isolation does not apply. We advise citizens to familiarize themselves with the full list of categories of persons who are not subject to self-isolation in advance. Self-isolation will be terminated in the event of a negative COVID-19 test result by PCR or express test, which is carried out after crossing the checkpoint.
