Graduated officers of the Navy go to the ranks of the National Guard
Today, December 24, the graduation of cadets of the Institute of Naval Forces of the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” took place in the premises of the Odessa Naval Station.
The solemn event was attended by the head of the South Odessa Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine Major General Oleg Pidlubny, who congratulated yesterday's cadets of the Navy Institute on the completion of training and obtaining the primary officer rank.
“This remarkable event in your life is an indisputable recognition of the high trust of the state and the command. I wish you with honor to carry the high rank — officer of the National Guard of Ukraine,” the Major General congratulated the graduating officers.
According to the state order of the National Guard of Ukraine, two graduates of the educational institution of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will continue to serve in the National Guard. One of them will hold the position of a senior officer of the diving group of the Separate Special Detachment of the South Odessa Territorial Department of the NGU.
The deputy for work with the personnel of the special forces unit, where one of the graduates is sent, noted: “I am sincerely convinced that thanks to loyalty to duty, perseverance in achieving the goal, you will become a true professional in your field.”
