Odessa: As of 11:30 a.m., gross violations of the law and quarantine measures have not been recorded
The work of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which today ensure law and order in Odessa, is coordinated by the Situation Center.
To coordinate the actions of the law enforcement agencies, it includes representatives of all services of the Ministry. The Situation Center monitors the situation in the places of gathering of people, at the entrances and exits of the city, all information about the operational situation in the region as a whole flows to it.
The main forces and means of the security forces are today concentrated near Cathedral Square, Kulikovo Field and in the central part of the city. Also, the outfits of law enforcement officers are exhibited near religious buildings, where festive services are held. They carry out explanatory work with people and monitor compliance with current legislation and quarantine requirements.
Directly at Kulikovo Field, the work of law enforcement officers is coordinated by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Yarovyi, the head of the police of the region Oleg Bekh and the heads of other law enforcement agencies.
