Promised to help avoid a bribe summons — military commissar was detained in Luhansk region
The soldier demanded $1,500 in illegal benefits from the citizen. For this amount, he promised to help avoid conscription in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in Luhansk region with law enforcement colleagues on May 15 detained the attacker in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine after the transfer of the agreed amount of funds.
At the moment, the investigators of the SBI Tertiary Department, located in the city of Kramatorsk, informed the detainee about the suspicion. The military commissar of the district territorial center of recruitment and social support shall incriminate the commission of a criminal offense provided for in Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Investigative actions continue. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the attacker is resolved. Procedural guidance in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the military and defense sphere of the Joint Forces.
